Delia A. Awusi
Brooklyn WBC Director

Delia A. Awusi, BOC Network’s Women’s Business Center Director (2014-present), earned her undergraduate degree in Finance from Temple University before completing her Master’s of Business Administration at Pennsylvania State University. In addition to her higher education, Ms. Awusi has a “Consumer and Personal Finance Counselor” certificate from the City University of New York. Ms. Awusi lived in Ghana and Belgium, worked in Africa and Europe, and speaks both English and Twi.

Ms. Awusi joined the WBC with extensive experience in corporate finance and investment, non-profit/NGO program management, and microenterprise development. She is proficient in the areas of non-profit leadership, leading government program initiatives, providing business counseling, and facilitating workshops and events geared towards entrepreneurs.

As WBC Director, Ms. Awusi is actively engaged in the field of business development, attending conferences; planning SBA resource partner events; acting as a judge for both the Brooklyn and Queens Public Library’s annual Business Plan competitions, participating in small business panels, and speaking on entrepreneurship. She spearheads new partnerships throughout the WBC target area, engaging local small businesses, financial institutions, corporations, community organizations, and more.

Cristy Moya
Bronx WBC Director

Cristy is an accomplished business professional with over ten years of experience working in business coaching, higher education, non-profit organizations, and city agencies in New York. Cristy received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Management from Berkeley College, New York. She served in DOE Local 10 as an advocate for students with IEP’s, promoting socio-economic equality through programs which provide aid to those in need. On a personal note, Cristy makes time to write poetry, several of her poems are published in Free Verse Magazine and are displayed at the Queens Museum of Art. She also has recited her poems at the Carnegie Hall Musical Connection program in conjunction with the South Bronx NeON program and NYC Department of Probation. On any given Sunday, Cristy is found volunteering at a local non-profit, where she helps prepare and serve food to the homeless.

One of her mottos is as Milton Burle said “If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.”
